How do I save a shortcut/link to a shared Excel

Hello Tayler,
I’m Ibhadighi and I’d happily help you with your question. In this forum, we are Microsoft consumers just like yourself.
If you’re using a shared Excel workbook stored on OneDrive or SharePoint, you can create a shortcut to the file on your desktop. Here’s how:
Open the shared workbook in your web browser and copy the URL from the address bar. Right-click on your desktop, select New, then select Shortcut. Paste the URL into the location field and click Next. Give the shortcut a name and click Finish. Now, when you double-click the shortcut, it will open the shared workbook in your web browser. From there, you can click the Edit Workbook button and select Edit in Excel to open the workbook in the Excel desktop application.
Please let us know if you need more help.
Best Regards, IBHADIGHI
