Outlook is trying to send a code to the same

I understand that when you tried to add @live.co.uk to Outlook, you encountered an issue where you needed to accept a verification code through your @live.co.uk mailbox in order to authenticate your identity, but you didn’t receive one.
In order to help you solve the problem more precisely, I would like to check with you if your account is tied to any other authentication method? Check your account security settings options: https://account.live.com/proofs/manage/additional
If not, you can try adding another authentication method to your account and try again.
Recently, we have collected some similar issues in Windows:
When logging into your Microsoft account in all Microsoft applications, you will be prompted to enter a verification code. If a Microsoft email is used as the verification method, the bug is triggered and you will not receive the verification code email.
Therefore, due to unknown reasons, you need to contact our senior engineers to provide you with a technical diagnosis, who are equipped with all the tools and resources to check for any limitations or develop a fix that is specifically targeted. You can contact online support by following the steps below:
- Go to Contact – Microsoft Support
- Type “phonelink” in the search box, click Get Help, and click Sign up and contact support at the bottom of the page. 3. Sign in with your Microsoft account.
- Sign in with your Microsoft account.
(Note: You can only sign in with your personal MSA, it will not display correctly when you sign in with your company account. If you are unable to log in to this account, you can use another account or create a new account to manage it.
- Under Products and Services, select Windows.
- Under Categories, select “Technical Support” and click Confirm.
- Click “Chat with a support agent”. Next, provide the contact information that the online agent can use to contact you.
